We use state of the art equipment on all of our projects for increased safety and productivity. All byproducts from all projects are recycled. From firewood to logs to woodchips, at some point it is all repurposed. We believe in an honest and strong work ethic on all of our projects.

History

Kidron Tree Service was started in 2005 by Mark Hochstetler. Before starting the company, he spent years in the woods with his father logging. He gained all his experience with a chainsaw during that time. When he moved to tree service work, there was a lot of hard work, dragging brush by hand and hard physical labor! Lately we have been fortunate enough to invest into equipment to save on labor and increase safety. Mark built a lot of relationships with many great costumers that still support us today. We couldn’t do it without them.

As a small business, we started by doing small jobs wherever we could. In recent years, bigger projects have come our way, and we will continueto pursue larger projects as they come along. Mark is still involved in everyday operations day to day. He fills in wherever he is needed from turning wrenches, to signing papers, to felling trees. Recently he started doing sales for Fallsway Equipment, selling Manitous with grapple saws. This is the latest equipment in the tree service industry.

Fun fact - Kidron tree service was the first company in the USA to use a manitou with Kinshofer grapple saw in day-to-day operations.

Mark has three sons Kenny, Brent and Josh who currently work alongside each other. Kenny, who is in charge of the land clearing projects has been doing tree work since graduating out of school. Brent takes care of all tree service projects and has been in the tree work for 9 years. Josh does our maintenance work.
